Eight songs and forty minutes? Really?! Thank you so much. Honestly, Julian Casablancas fucking gets pop/rock music so well. I’m not sure what that third Strokes album was all about—I’ll kind of assume they were just doing like just too much coke and thought it would be fine to keep adding retarded shit ‘pon retarded shit. Between this album and the Albert Hammond, Jr. albums, I still retain hope for another good Strokes release. Sí se puede. Sí se puede.

I am looking forward to listening to a non-96kbps version of this album, but I suspect it’s going to take a while to get over how much this song sounds like “Ana Ng”-era They Might Be Giants.  Not that this is a bad thing!
