“Shades”
This new Dirty Money / Diddy stuff is way more interesting & effective & actually-fairly-art-y to me than most of what Kanye’s been releasing lately. There’s so much more grace & sophistication & style, like there’s something very sleek & professional & tasteful about the entire project. I think it’ll age pretty well, even if it doesn’t capture the press’s attention like Kanye does.
New Single: Diddy - Shades (Feat. Lil Wayne, Justin Timberlake)
Fuck, this is great. It connects the dots of “Lovestoned” and “Flashing Lights” and 808s and Heartbreak to push forward a little bit and make those artistic anomalies a kind of style. More of this, please.
